Q. HOW MANY TIMES A WEEK CAN I SENSIBLY USE A SUNBED?

A. People with skin type 1, children under 18, people on certain medications that may cause photosensitivity and people with a history of skin cancer in their family should not use a sunbed at all. Moderate tanning of 2-3 sessions a week is OK for everyone else but ensure you rest the skin for a minimum of 24 hours between each session and at least 48 hours for skin type 2. The European Standard advises not to exceed 60 sessions per annum.

Q. WHAT ARE SUNBED LAMPS ?

A. Sunbed lamps simulate the sun and emit UVA and UVB but they go a stage further and control the output with a balance of UV to minimise the risk of burning and maximise the tanning.

Q. IS THERE A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SUNBEDS AND SUNLIGHT ?

A. No, the sunbed works in exactly the same way as normal sunlight. The UV light from a sunbed stimulates the production of melanin in your skin in exactly the same way as normal sunlight does.

Q. CAN I TAKE A SHOWER AFTER USING A SUNBED ?

A. Yes, the tan is produced naturally by your skin it cannot rub off unlike fake tans.

Q. CAN I TAN MY BODY AND NOT MY FACE ?

A. Yes, all our lie down sunbeds have the facility to turn off or reduce the power of the facial tanning lamps. Its up to you!

Delivery

All delivery , and stock availability. If charges are subject to change and delivery is subject to credit card authorisationyour product is in stock, your item will go in the post that day. If your order was outside business hours it will go in the following days mail.

Returning Faulty Goods

In the event that your product is faulty upon arrival we will exchange or refund your item within 28 days of receiving the returned item.

Returning Unwanted Goods

In accordance with the Distance Selling legislation, we will accept goods returned within 14 days from date of delivery so long as they are returned in an unused new condition with the original packaging, the original invoice. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the goods are returned safely to us and the customer must pay postage costs, and we will then return the item to you.

Sales Contract

If you do not receive a confirmation email after registering or placing an order please contact us immediately. tanzone.ie will not be responsible if you should fail to receive emails sent to the email address you provide when you register.

When you place an order you will receive an email from us confirming receipt of your order. Please check that all details are correct. If not please contact us immediately.

Whilst all items are offered for sale in good faith occasionally for reasons beyond our control, we may not be able to fulfill your order. Therefore a sale agreement will only exist between yourself and tanzone.ie when you receive an email confirming your order has been shipped.

In accordance with Consumer Protection regulations relating to distance selling you may cancel your order up to 7 days from the day after you receive your goods. tanzone.ie will be happy to accept the return of unopened saleable goods if so required.
